Our Story

We’re a married couple who share a love for travel, our pup, & adventures. In 2018, we knew that we needed to make a professional change & had a strong desire to do something that we could be truly passionate about.

As avid travelers, we know how important an exceptional stay is. From our experience, we realized that a lot of hosts, property managers, & hotels were skating by on the bare minimum. We knew that we could do better, & that fellow travelers simply deserved better.

Our vision is to enhance travel through unique stays that reflect the vibes, culture, history, & the beauty of the area. While delivering comfort, modern amenities, & cleanliness that guests can consistently count on. Going North isn’t a destination, it’s an experience. So we encourage you to venture out, go North, even if your North is South, & don’t settle for anything less than authentic.

“Drive right into a little slice of nature near the heart of Traverse City area. A great retreat after a busy day sightseeing or shopping downtown. Walk to the beach or just around the babbling brook winding through the property with your pups. Then relax and unwind in the private hot tub. A well-appointed, neat and tidy space with room and great WiFi to work (if you have to like I did.) Great little getaway with lots to do in the area! We hope to be back. Thanks for an enjoyable stay!”
